I have wanted to start blogging for awhile so I decided to make it a New Year Resolution. Recently, I have been browsing many teacher websites and love them so I decided this would be a fun blog to begin. I have been teaching for nine years and have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, fourth grade and have been a math strategist. I am now teaching fourth grade and I think it is my favorite grade to teach. I have a feeling though I say that no matter which grade I am teaching. I just enjoy the kids and teaching. I feel like I have the best job on Earth.
In nine years, I have managed to get quite the filing cabinet full of ideas and activities that I have created or borrowed from other teachers. I wanted an outlet to organize, reflect on and share all of these great ideas and adventures I with my kids everyday. Blogging seemed like the perfect way to do that! Look forward to adding more and more to this every week!!
